PricePulse privacy policy

PricePulse (“the app”) is a Shopify app published by TryGather (trygather.ai). It helps merchants monitor prices on competitor product pages. This policy explains what the app collects when a merchant installs it.

What we collect

• Store information: your shop domain, store currency, and the store contact email (used as the default alert email, which you can change).
• Product information: the title, image, variant and price of the products you choose to track, read with the read_products permission.
• Competitor data you provide: the competitor product URLs you add and the public prices, titles and stock status we read from those pages.

PricePulse does not access, collect or store any customer or order data, and requests no customer-related permissions.

How we use it

Only to provide the app: checking competitor prices on your schedule, showing price history and sending the alerts you configure. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Service providers

The app is hosted on Railway (United States). Paid plans may fetch hard-to-reach competitor pages through a proxy provider, and alert emails are delivered by an email provider. These providers only process data needed to deliver the service.

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, price checks stop immediately. All data for your store is permanently deleted when Shopify sends the shop data-erasure request (48 hours after uninstall). You can also remove any tracked product or competitor at any time in the app.
